I joined a sock KAL and the socks are gorges but mine are not like the ones the others have knitted so this is what i have done so fare and these socks are only a test pair to see if i could do this patten and do it right but i messed it up so the next ones i will try and get right because they are for a friend of mine for Christmas and i hope i figure out how to make the cable on the sides of the sock and look like they are supposed to look.

Keep in mind the higher you build your city and your walls and resources the more others will be wanting to challenge you and attack to try and take your gold and resources that you need to build your army and city with. So keep it safe as you can and when you first register to play you get two free gift so don't for get to clam them as well they will come in handy if you need to retreat and move your city to a safe place. You all so need to get a Embassy as soon as you can so you can join an Alliance this Alliance is your family here and they help you with building tips, resources if you need them, reinforcement if you get attacked or they can even attack the person for you that is attacking you. But befor you join an alliance make sure they will help you that it is a good choice. You can all ways change to another alliance if you fell like you don't want to stay in the one you chose. Now as for your up grades i find it much easier if you build 9 cottages, one of every thing except you build 11 barracks and keep in mind you need your sawmill, Roch quarries, Iron Mines and Farms so each time you up grade any think it eats up your resources which is your Iron, Rock, food, wood, So try and keep up grading these 4 thinks other wise you will find your self waiting for them to catch up with your building levels. Oh and you need a Hero as well so look in your Inn for a good one try and find one that is a Level 1, With high politics, attack, and Intelligence, appoint this Hero as your Mayor. You can sell some of your recourse in the market place which you build in your city. Or you can triad them for other recourse's that you need. When you think you are ready to attack other players Or Barbarian cities just remember other players will attack back so make sure you can defend your self be for you beside to attack any one. Strategies and quick thinking will help you in this game you have to be ready for any thing at any time.

Things i have been doing

Well this past two weeks my daughter and i have been working in the front yard getting it ready for planting spring flowers. She raked the leaves and piled them up to burn and cleaned off the porch and took down the wood siding that Bob put up just be for winter to keep the wind off the living room windows and it made it much warmer in here this past winter. I planted some ivy in that old wood stove i put in the yard two years ago. I hope the ivy fills it and covers most of the wood stove. I may be getting a hot tub and if i get it ill put it in the back yard and get Bob to build a back deck to support it. I may all so be getting a 4 wheeler if i do ill use that to go and check the mail which will save on gas in the van. I will be getting a new stove in about a week or two well not new its used but new to me and its one of them glass top stoves and flat easy to clean i hope. I gave my pool to Bob and his family and took it over there this week to clean out my shed in the back yard so we could us that for storage and get some of that stuff out of my back room may be i can find some of my stuff that has been missing that my daughter stuck back there. Other then that not much has changed around here. I can't wait to start planting my flowers and have some color out side. I did get a Lilac bush and i am supposed to be getting some other bushes and trees for the yard some time soon. I do have some Wisterea bush i planted two years ago when i planted my pussy willows but they have been struggling as well as my purple ash tree. I just hope they grow a little more this year. But none of them has budded as yet this year i hope they do soon. Oh and i let my corgie Zuse go and i all so had to get read of my other dog Ditie but i keeped the Minpin that Bob gave me and no one is going to let me give him up.

My Plants Pussy Willows Bloomed

Well i was worried when i planted the pussy willows that they may not bloom. But this is the third year and they finally bloomed for me. There not big plants yet but there getting there. I have liked this plant when i was growing up in Vermont i use to pick them and put them in a vase at my grandmothers when i stayed there. I took these Photos but only one plant has any blooms on it that you can see. The others are kind of small but took photos any how.

Still Working on the House

Well we have not yet quite finished the Kitchen we still need to paint the wall where we put the new sheet rock and my sink drain pipe is still leaking just a bit not much i need to figure out what i can do to stop that be for it messes up the new counter. The living room is half painted and need to finish that as well. All the new linoleum is down in the living room and kitchen and hall way. But we still have my daughters bathroom and my bathroom to do as yet. That is another project after we finish the kitchen and the painting in the living room.
Other then that its looking pretty nice in here. I will say this much its been hard work and i was not able to help much. My daughter did most of the work my son helped some with the kitchen floor and him and i put down the linoleum. My Daughter did not want to have the kids around the adhesive for the flooring so she took them to her room and closed the door it is harmful to breath and if you get it on you so my son and i did that part. All i did was helped him by smoothing out the linoleum because i could not get down on the floor that close to help put the glue down on the floor.
But with all three of us doing some of it helped. My daughter knocked out all the cabinets and most of the flooring with the sledge hammer and with a claw hammer. My son did do some of the floor with the sledge hammer but not as much as she did. We still need more counter's and i think we are going to get that with our next check i hope so we can get this done soon. We need at least three more counters to make it look nice in there and have enough cabinets to put stuff in we are not going to have any over head cabinets because i can't use them any how i can't reach up that high i am to short lol.

OK well this is the first time in 4 years i have lost my internet but guess what i will be losing it in a day or so i have all ready lost my phone so i think i will lose it may be by tomorrow or soon after that. Floor done

Well today we finally got the new linoleum down and my daughter did not want to help with that part because of the glue it had warnings on it about getting it on you our smelling it so she took the kids to her room and my son and i did the gluing it down. That was fun let me tell ya. here are the photos of my new kitchen floor. I think it looks really nice. Now all we have to do is put up the sheet rock and paint it and then install the new sink and sink cabinet that will be run because we still have a problem with the water line to the sink is still not fixed as yet and still leeks a little not as much as it did but still it will mess up the new sink base if we don't get it fixed. So next on the agenda is getting up sheet rock and then painting it first. Will post when i get the next step done. well i had a photo of the finished floor but it did not come out to well ill have to take another one and see if it comes out better and post it later.

Remodleing My Kitchen

Well i guess this winter has not been that boring not for me any how. This month my daughter decided that it was time for me to redo my kitchen and move some things around and replace my floor and sheet rock little did she know how hard that was till she got started. Well here it is two weeks later and we got the floor tore out yesterday and the old sheet rock now i have bear studs for a kitchen wall and a big hole in my floor but we got the ply wood and the new sheet rock to put up but first we have to fix the drain pip that goes to the sewer from the kitchen sink because we broke it off moving the kitchen counter. We are going to move my stove over to the other side of the kitchen because it was on the north side of the house and when you stood there and cooked it was cold so we need to get more wire for that. Now we will plum the kitchen sink after we get the floor fixed and put up new sheet rock.
After we get all this done then we are going to pain the new walls. Oh ya and while we are replacing the floors in the kitchen we are going to patch some week places in the living room so that we won't have to do the same thing to the living room we had to do in the kitchen. Then after all this is done we are going to lay down new linoleum and its a pretty color.
Here are some photos of what the kitchen looked like. I will post photos when we are done. Oh and did i mention that my son can't cut a strait line.

What has been going on here

Well not a lot but i will say it has been interesting to say the lest. First off my Workers comp check has been cut back to less then half of what i was getting and now it is hard to make ends meet. I can't pay for all my bills at one time any more but i guess that i will just have to do the best i can. Second my daughter is not here this week she is visiting a friend that just got out of the hospital and will be gone for a week i guess don't know for sure. I am babysitting my 5 year old grandson till she gets back. My son has not found a job as yet and i guess don't want to he just sets here at home and does his college classes and don't seem to be interested in finding a job till he gets out of college.
On a good not i have meet some one i don't know how this will turn out but i hope it turns out good and that we get a long with each other i know we have a lot in common we both like most of the same movies. He is in the Air Force and i don't know how long he will stay in the Air Force but it he is happy that is great. He is a very sweet guy and caring and he likes me the way i am flaws and all. He knows i smoke and it don't bother him at all and he knows that i can't walk with out a cane and that don't bother him ether. Just may be this time it will turn in to a relationship. He wants to be friends for now but the indication is there that i may be more then just friends.
The thing is i have meet him in person only once and in public i don't meet any one for the first time in person a lone or in private. But even though i have not seen him in private i like him and he gave me a hug when he seen me. boy did that feel good it had been a long time seance i had a hug. And not only that i have been having drams about him and i don't know why and there not sexual there just good drams. I can't help but think this friend ship will be more then just friends but we are taking it slow may be slower then i want to but if it leads to more that will be great.
I can't wait till next weekend which will be on the 31 of this month i hope i get to go and spend some time with him like we had planed this weekend but i can't had to put this weekend on hold because my daughter just had to go and see her friend which i payed for because her friend just had surgery on his gallbladder for stones. And my kids come first so i put my plans on hold till then i just hope she is back by then so i can do what i want to do. Well that is all this time may be ill have more to report about my weekend when it happens.

Starting session B

Well here it is another new year and a new start in college i am starting a new session called session B it started today and will go for 8 weeks. I only hope i do as well in this session as i did in my last one if not better. I have the book but it is the wrong edition i have edition 6 and need edition 9 so i will have to reorder the book and hope i get it soon. Devry has changed from using Addobe acrobat reader to using myscribe and i don't know how to use it as yet so i can't even dl the new book for free like i would like to.
On another note i am still working on my knitted afghan i started for a friend for Christmas but i am a little slow on getting it finished. and i am all so still crocheting the one i started for another friend but this one was not a Christmas gift just a gift. When i finish both of them i will post a photo of them here on my blog.
I all so started using netflix i like moveis and this way i can get them cheeper then buying them in a store and i don't have to return them right a way. I keep them as long as i like and order more when i return the ones i have.
We are getting snowed in here. It snowed Friday night and again Saturday night i don't think i will be able to go to church today because i can't get out of my drive way because the snow is too keep and i can't shovle it out. I wanted to go today i had not been in a while because of one problem or another or i was just to tired to go and sleeped late.
Well i had a experance in my kitchen tonight i had never had befor. Some of you that read my blogs will think i am just emagening things or i have an over emagenation but let me tell you nothing could have braced me for what happend. I was in my kitchen and cleaing my dishes when all the suddon i feelt the floor jar and it felt like some one was right behind me and stomped on the floor. I felt the air behind me and the floor jar i know it was not my tiny puppie because is not heavey enough to do that to the floor. It scared the wiet out of me let me tell ya. I went back in to the living room where my daughter was setting and he heard me say what the hell was that. and at the same time i was going as fast as i could to the living room and when i told her what i fellt she said i told you i seen somthing earlyer in the hall way towards the bathroom and my bedroom. So i don't know what all this means but i know one thing i am not going to let me get to me if i have any other stuff like this happen i think i am going to get some one here to check it out. I have never fealt any thing in this house and had not had any problems till lately so it kind of makes me wonder as to why now and not befor this.
I have started filming the house at night with my web cam and recording anything that moves in my living room i can't get down the hall way with my web cam or the kitchen but if any thing come in to my living room day or night it will be picked up. I just hope i get somthing on it so show me what is going on and have proof of what is going on. i will post the recordings here if i find any thing on them.

What i have been up too

Well i have not been posting on my blog because i have been busy to i am still in college and i have not had much time to do any knitting or crocheting ether. But i am working on an afghan and knitting one as well. My daughter is back home and i have her and my two grand sons here with me. Christmas was good i got one of them things you see on tv that raps around you when you are setting in a chair or on a couch like a blanket but it has harms to it. My grand kids had fun but the baby is only 2 months and don 't know what Christmas is yet and may not next year but he got a lot of stuff. my 5 year old grand son got the most he got a spider man gun that shoots out foam for a web and all so a foam dart. He got a remote control air plain that makes noise he got a transformer and moon sand. My son for a bow and arrow and my daughter got a ring and two sweeters that she picked out lol only because she was with me when i had to get them.
Other then that whats going on in my life well i got a letter the other day from WSI telling me that they was going to cut my comp check to less then half and why becuse they are saying that i am able to work when the Dr's told me i am not able to work and to file for SSI well i was not ready to give up so i started college and trying to get my degree in Medical Billing that way i can work at home and not have to try and get highterd by some one that don't think i can do the job. For onec i would just like some one to highter me for my brains and not for the way i walk. I have filled out several apps for jobs and i don't even get a call back from any of them. So what is one to do other then try and get a degree in somthing that will all ways need someone in.
Well i am not giving up that easly on that ether i am not going to stop college and try and find a job around here where there is not jobs to get.
Well on another note we got some snow and it has been snowing now for several weeks off and on now from Novermber to date. It has gotten colder and below 0. I think after i get my degree and start working we are going to save up money to move to Vermont where i was born. I hope we can any how that way we can all find jobs and not have to worrie about what or when we are able to pay the bills here.

Knitting Again

Well I loved knitting with MS3 so much last yare that i joined again this year. I had a little brake in my classes and i am not casting on for MS4 I cast on Friday and finised my swatch with beads. But im not sure which Beeds i will use for the Shawl i used some clear glass beads size #8 but im not sure if i want too use the same ones for the Shawl. I have so many beads i have been buying them sence i finished MS3 last yare i have light green one mixed one red one and the clear ones i used on the swatch. But so many to chose from im confused and don't know what ones will look best with the yarn im using. The color yarn im using is called Garnet by Jagger Spun Superfine Merino 100% Aust. Wool 2/18. Oh so many choises i don't know which one I all so have 4 other colors of yarn as well.

I guess i will just have too make a swatch of each and with diffreant beads and see which one i like best. Wish Me luck that i find the one i like best.

Just finished my first session and I did well i passed and did not think I would do this but i did. I am going too Devry for Medical Billing and when i am done I will be able too work again. I can't wait i am so tired of setting here at home and not making any money.

Well i just finished these socks from th toe up with short row heels and i love them now im going too try making a pair with a pattern to it hope they turn out just a nice as the others i have made. I still need to fix the other pair that the dogs chewed up the purple ones with yellow heel and toes there still in a zip lock baggie waiting to be fixed.

Well i have not been doing much knitting lately because not been feeling well been in hospital and to Grand Forks for testing but nothing has changed. so i have had a little time to finish this and i started another pair of socks. heres the Photos of what i finished. the Afghan is made with hair pin lace and the socks well i was supposed too do them both on at the same time on two circular kneedles but after trying it i could not figure it out lol so im still doing one at a time. but i like the colors and hope i finish them soon. My son got me the DVD on how too do them both at one time from Knitters Korner. The Afghan is not as big as I like it too be but did not get enough yarn so i made it a throw may be one of these days ill get some more yarn and make it bigger. Other then that I started another afghan but last night but only got it cast one lol nothing eles done to it. This one will be Teal and White hope it looks as good as the one i just finished.

It is called hair pin lace and im using multi color yarn from Red Hart and its Warsted Medium. Rely pretty colors i think the color is called Farm Land.

I am working on this Stole but had to put it and other things on hold because on Wednesday the 12 of March i had to go too the hospital because of chest pains. now i have to go too Grand Forks and get another stress test and i don't like the one i have too get because i can't do the tread mill for the test so you know what that means. And i don't like it a bit had one before last year and they found a blockage im hoping its not worse now if so don't know what they will do this time around. Will keep up dating as i find out.

My Second Pair of socks Leg to Toe

Well this was my second pair of socks and tried to make the heel and toe a deferant color and they looked good till well some how i got mixed up and ended up with a yellow streek of yarn from the heel half way too the center of the sock and on the other one it goes from one side of the sock to the other from heel to heel lol i don't know what i did rong but well it fits good any how.
And wend i took them off my dog got them off the coffee table and chewed one of the toes up as you can see so now i have too redo that toe i was so up set and when i seen what he had done he ran and hid he has never chewed on any of my socks and for some reason he chose these. Owell i guess ill put these a side and redo them later. after i figure out how too do socks toe up heel and all.

Well i guess i need to find a DvD on how too knit socks toe up because i can't seem too get the Heel every thing i find on toe up it says too do short row just like the toe but it don't make sense to me on how too do that i guess I'm just dumb or some thing but any how i tried to do socks toe up and this is what i ended up with as you can see the heel looks distorted or funky i don't know but it feels good on my foot lol and fits good. and the only reason i want too do toe up is because i don't like grafting the toe closed. And when your done with the sock its done you don't have too graft the toe closed. Much easier i think and Faster too. My son got me a DVD on how too knit socks but its from the top down and now i want one for toe up and hope it shows how too do the heel and not just tell you too do a short row like the toe if it does I'm going too get up set LOL.

Car Trouble

Well its been a bad month for me. My car desided it was not going too work right. It won't hold a charge in the battery. I have put a charger on it every night and it will crank in the Morning but when i get where im going and it desides it don't want too crank again and i have too get a boost. So i got a new Battery and put it on but still doing the same thing. In October my brakes deside too go out on it as well got them fixed and with in three weeks they was out again. The brake pads on the passanger side of the car on the back wheel was warn done too the metal on just one brake pad don't know what cosed that but they was got them fixed again. But now that wheel wants too grab and slide when i go too put on the brakes and i don't slam them on just ease down on them. any how after last month and this month and paying some one to come and fix my car i have put about 500.00 in too it. Now i have too put new tires on it because these won't last the winter and they will not grip the road and i don't want too be out in the winter time and end up sliding off the road because of bad tires. I told my Friend in Texas about my problems with my car and he told me i can have his Van. So Next month im going to Texas and get a new Van. A Friend is going too give me his van i can't wait im so excited when i get it ill post a photo of it. And im going too take a Photo of my friends and post it as well.

MY Firt pair of Socks Finished

YES I finely finished my first full pair of socks i have been working on them for about three weeks but not constantly i have been all so working on a shawl so between the two i have been knitting like crazy to get them done. But now that i have finished the socks and put them on i don't think ill ever buy another pair at a store these are so comfy and the heel dont slide up too my ankles when i put my shoes on like store bought ones does. I can't wait too make some more but i would like to make them with a another pattern these are just straight knitted no special stitches. going looking for sock patterns and may be the next ones will be from toe up.
Well better get to bed its now 4:15 am here and getting tired lol but just could not stop had too finish my socks.

Well i new i wold die some day but did not think it would be this soon.
I got up this morning was fealing a bit peekish but did not think that my bullet was so close to me.
But i went too my PO Box this morning and guess what there it was my finale minuets was at hand i got the package and though it was my DVD for learing how too knit socks but no wait it was too soft and yup you got it, it was my sock bullet i opened the package and there they was a very nice pair of blue socks with a sempath card informing me i was dead. but wait there was something eles in that package what was it. i opend it and there was a nice package of corn chowder my favorite. So i may be dead but my feet and tummy will be warm from now on and my heart will sing long after im gone.

I am gathering Jackets, Hats, Mittens, socks and any thing for {Children, Men & Woman, for a small town here in {North Dakota The Town was North Wood }that got hit with a tornado this spring and wiped out the Mobil Homes and with winter coming they need help. Im not asking for new items just any thing that you no longer want or can use. any thing would get great. But please let me know if you are donating and send any item too me.
With winter coming its going too be hard for these people too live with out there homes and clothing to shelter them this winter.

I made this the other day and though i would post a photo of it. I have never made any thing out of beads or with beads till i Joined MS3 and it got me hooked big time. i went out the other day and spent $20. on pliers and wire and clamps and other things just to make this necklace and i think it turned out farly well.

Well i like it so much I am making one for a friend but this one is in Blue and looks good I'm using Pony Beads not Seed Beads because I'm Not using Lace weight Yarn.

Well I'm finely learning how to knit for years i have been tried to learn how to crochet and finely learned how. this past fall i crochet my first afghan and did not stop there i went on to crochet 7 more gave them all a way but on that i made for my son.
then i wanted to learn knitting but did not understand the instruction till one day i was surfing the internet and found the yahoo group that was starting a knit a long and joined it i figured at least i could get help doing it this way and all so i won't be the only one so i did join and now im glad i did im making a lacy stole and im proud of it even though i have made mistakes but it looks good to me. im looking for more things to knit now and hope i can make some slippers or socks and want to make leg warmers.

Last week i went to the local fair here in my home town. it was not as fun this year as it was last year i could not walk around it because of my back i got hurt last July at work. but i still went and watched the races and all so went to the concert. Most of the races did not run because of the ran the track got too messy for the horses and all so the combine demalition got cancled as well.

I'm going to go to Texas on the 28th to get my stuff out of storage there that has been in storage sence 98 im hoping that every thing is ok and nothing is broken when i get it home.
